Shoreside Since 1938
WatersEdge Trading Company has been outfitting North Shore travelers and neighbors for decades. Our building is a piece of local history itself, constructed in 1938. If you look up at the ceiling inside the shop, you’ll see a repurposed iron bridge beam that has supported our roof since day one. We’re not from the shore. We’re part of it.
What We Carry
We keep our shelves stocked with a mix of rugged outdoor gear and refined clothing styles. Whether you need a durable pair of boots for the Superior Hiking Trail or a classic sweater for dinner down the shore, we focus on quality that lasts. We carry apparel, footwear, trail staples, and unique gifts for the whole family.
Two-Human Crew
Today, the entire operation is run by a two-man team. From unboxing shipments and dressing mannequins to helping you try on shoes and answering the phones, we do it all ourselves. We are proud to keep this historic North Shore landmark moving forward, and we’re grateful for the locals and visitors who keep our days full of stories.
